Minutes of Special Board Meeting
ACBL Unit 465
Carson Bridge Club
Present: Jerry Lynn, Paul Jorgensen, Paul Pugsley, Gary Nitzberg, Donna McLeod and Cheryl Kinder.
Absent: John Sill and Nick Pchelkin.
The meeting was called to order at 4:45 p.m. by President Gary Nitzberg.
The special meeting of the Board of Unit 465 was called to discuss the ramifications as the result of the no sanction by District 20 of the Sectional planned for the second weekend of October 2008.
It was moved, seconded and carried that a letter and petition be mailed to all ACBL members of Unit 465 requesting their approval for changing the district affiliation from District 20 to District 21.
Paul Jorgensen and Gary Nitzberg will handle the preparation and mailing of the letter and petition requesting that the signed petitions be returned no later than Jan. 31, 2008.
MSC that meeting be adjourned at 5:25 p.m.
